We collect items such as:

  • Military memorabilia connected to local residents

  • Clothing, uniforms, and textiles

  • Objects related to the Gold Rush and early settlement

Each artifact helps bring history to life.

Oral Histories

Some of the most valuable history lives in the stories of our community members.

We collect and record:

  • Interviews with longtime residents

  • Personal memories of important local events

  • Stories of migration, military service, farming, and family life

Oral histories preserve voices and experiences that may not appear in written records.
